Thursday 20th June 2023 LO- to identify the features on a magazine front cover; to explore genre codes and conventions   fashion magazines The range of fashion magazines all have - bright colours - bold titles - main images  -models - promotes the fashion  Sub genre  rap pop music electronic heavy metal POP- Nails- the magazines for nails have very different colours for the different nail designs. Theres different fonts that pop out and grab your attention in these magazines also.

 Thursday 15th June 2023 LO- to identify the features on a magazine front cover; to explore genre codes and conventions masthead- big and bold title at the top dateline- the right corner in small text main image- the image that takes up usually the whole magazine infront of some titles coverlines- telling the story of the magazine main cover line- smaller than masterhead but bigger than the other coverlines barcode/price- right corner in small text tagline/strapline- appears at the bottom of the magazine pull quote-  made up of text that is pulled from the text—that is, duplicated—and presented on the page as an attention-grabbing visual element . 

Thursday 15th June 2023   https://graciearnold43.wixsite.com/my-site Evaluation This website is for advancing acrylic nails. It gives ideas and inspiration for what you would like on your own nails. On Wix i had to do many things for example i had to make everything in the right places, the right colours and background to all match my theme. I'm pleased with how this website has turned out as i think the colours and the images really helps bring the website all together to explain what is wanted to be brought across to the viewers. As much as i like this design, i think if i was to change it i would add more text and elaborate on why you should get acrylics :)
